A herd of bison lives in the heart of Wittgenstein and can be experienced firsthand. The guided tour will cover topics such as the history of the animals, dating back to prehistoric times, their origins in Canada, and how they are kept in Germany. Information on species conservation and agricultural use will also be provided.

Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing!

Directions:

Take the B 62 and L 719 to Feudingen. After leaving the town, after approximately 1.2 km, turn left onto "Im Dernbach" and cross a bridge. Take the second right towards the bison enclosure.

Park above the enclosure. Turn left towards the house.

Egg Hunt in Bad Laasphe – Join us!

On his way through Wittgenstein, the Easter Bunny will be hopping through Bad Laasphe, hiding lots of colorful Easter eggs!

When? Easter Monday, April 6th, starting at 1 p.m. – while supplies last.

They're hidden in the Kurpark Bad Laasphe. Around the pond, the war memorial, the benches, and the lawns – a little creativity is needed to find them, and it's a great way for families to add some color to their Easter walk.

Everyone is welcome to come and join the hunt!
