    Bison Tour

A bison herd lives in the heart of the Wittgenstein region; on Saturday, July 25, 2026, you can see them up close during a guided tour at the Feudingen Species Conservation Center enclosure.

Led by Achim Wickel, the tour covers topics such as the animal's history—dating back to prehistoric times—its origins in Canada, and how the animals are kept in Germany. Information regarding species conservation and agricultural use will also be discussed.

The bison tour lasts one hour and fifteen minutes. The participation fee is €7.00.

The tour starts at 11:00 a.m.

To get there, take the B 62 and L 719 roads to Feudingen. After leaving the village, continue for approximately 1.2 km, turn left across a bridge, and then take the second right-hand turn towards the bison enclosure.

Parking is available above the enclosure; turn left there towards the residential building.

Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather.

Registration is required and is open until July 24, 2026:
